ABOUT ME

Family life

I am a mom to a beautiful, smart, and talented young lady who is my joy and reason for the goals I set in my life.  She and I love to sit and chat at the end of our day over a cup of tea.  We also like to go on walks, shopping, bike riding, watching our favorite show, and going to the coast.  We are both musical and like to play the piano and sing.  We live in Salem, Oregon with our 3 year old cat who makes our lives interesting and entertains us.  I hope to ensire my daughter to set her goals and dreams high and keep reaching for them.

I was born in Romania and came to the states when I was 11, after living in Germany for eighteen months.  Learning English was difficult, however I pushed myself and learned quickly in order to succeed in school.  Growing up I loved sciences, math, and technology.  I've always been self-driven, organized, and motivated to keep setting new goals and work hard for them.  My parents are both hard workers and instilled that trait in me at a young age.  My entire family lives back in the midwest.  I moved to Oregon in 2001 and have loved it ever since.  I prefer the rain over the freezing temperatures and snow.

Hard work is how I've gotten anything in life and hope to pass that trait on to my daughter as she develops her journey in life.  I feel blessed to have come from a communist country with little opportunitites to a country where almost anything is possible if one works for it.
