The self-paced webinar above was created using an online program called Udutu.  It was designed as a training tool for creating rich motivating enviornments for students in the classroom.  The goal was to develop a training tool that would train others how to inspire students to take control of their own learning, set their own goals, manage their own learning, and assess their own progress.

c. Customize and personalize learning activities to address students' diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources.

Students absorb information and learn new skills in a variety of ways.   Using technology tools in the classroom allows students to learn in diverse ways.  The lesson plan above uses Google Earth to teach math concepts using bridges.  The lesson requires students to use the information given to calcuate measurments of bridges from around the world. Students spend time exploring math concepts, analyzing information, making judgments, applying solution, and comparing data.

d. Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards, and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.

The Syllabus showcased above is taken out of a short course created for high school students to explore career paths.  It includes multiple opportunities for students to use a variety of technological tools to show their learning.  Assessment opportunitites are provided throughout the course analyzing student outcome while meeting technological standards.
