The above example showcases how paper-and-pencil math problems can be transfered into digital format to give students a virtual real-life experience, helping them make connections between the math concepts they are learning and solutions that relate to real-life scenarios.

b. Collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support students success and innovation.

Prezi is a tool that allows users to create slides in a Powe Point format and share them online to communicate instructions, ideas, and tools.  This presentation was created to communicate ideas to educators about reinforcements that can be used in the classroom to help motivate students and ecourage them to succeed.

c. Communicate relevant information and ideas effectively to students, parents, and peers using a variety of digital age media and formats.

There is a great privilage that comes from the opportunity to read from other authors about their ideas, opinions, and experiences with technology.  The artifact above showcases a simple, yet effective way to interact with others regarding the same reading material and collaborate on inspiring thoughts and opinions that develop as a result of being exposed to literature by others on similar topics of interest.  A blog is a tool which allows for the interaction of ideas and opinions, ultimately communicating relevant information to students, parents, and peers.

d. Model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning.

One of the most effective ways to give students instructions on a project is to model the process.  The above example displays an animated map that takes a math problem and creates a real life scenario that students would need to solve.  Using the Animapted Maps tools in the above example allows students to see ways they can use this tool to communicate solutions to math problems, ultimately supporting their learning.
